About
Hi, I'm Zach.
Filmmaker, photographer and the person behind Leadinglite Media, where I make media for leaders of companies and organisations. I've been making videos since high school, and doing it professionally since 2016.
My story
I know what leaders carry. I carried it for nine years.
My own experience of leadership started when I founded a non-profit filmmakers society in my hometown of Nanaimo. Today it's the CineCentral Filmmakers Society. I ran it for nine years as both president and executive director, and built a lot of its branding and marketing along the way.
That experience showed me the challenges leaders face. After a decade of creating media for clients, I started Leadinglite Media in 2026 to focus on the clients I believe it's most important to support.
My goal now is to make media easy, so leaders can focus on their mission.

A little more about me
Humble dreamer. Charlie Chaplin fan.
I love a story with heart, and I believe the feeling a piece of media leaves you with matters more than any single line in it. Maya Angelou said it best: people will never forget how you made them feel.
When I make a video or take a photo, I want to capture the feeling of your brand as honestly as I can, so your audience remembers you.
What I believe
Leaders hold the weight of the world on their shoulders. The more we support them, the more good they can do.
Let's make media easy.
